Trip Information

The Sikles Trek – 6 days is a beautiful short trekking adventure in the Annapurna region of Nepal, ideal for those seeking a peaceful escape into nature and local culture without venturing too high into the mountains. This off-the-beaten-path trek leads you to the traditional Gurung village of Sikles, one of the largest and oldest Gurung settlements in the country. Set against the backdrop of the Annapurna II (7,937 m) and Lamjung Himal, this trek rewards visitors with stunning views, rich biodiversity, and cultural immersion.

Unlike high-altitude treks, the Sikles Trek remains at a lower elevation, making it accessible and enjoyable for families, beginners, and those short on time. The route passes through terraced hillsides, alpine meadows, dense rhododendron forests, and traditional settlements. You’ll have opportunities to interact with the warm Gurung community, witness daily village life, and explore traditional houses, local museums, and cultural dances.

Whether it’s the panoramic Himalayan views, the chance to stay in authentic homestays, or the serene trails away from the crowd, the Sikles Trek is a perfect choice for an immersive, nature-filled experience in a short time.
