Itinerary

Arrive at Paro International Airport and be greeted with a traditional Bhutanese khadar (white scarf). Enjoy a smooth transfer in a luxury private vehicle to your 5-star boutique hotel. Spend the day relaxing and acclimatizing, then take a guided walk around Paro town, exploring Rinpung Dzong, the traditional wooden bridge Nyamai Zam, and local handicraft shops.

After breakfast, embark on a moderate 8 km hike (4–5 hours round trip) to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest). Pass through pine forests adorned with prayer flags, stop at viewpoints for photography, and explore the monastery’s sacred temples. Return to your 3-star hotel in Paro for a relaxed evening.

Drive from Paro to the serene Haa Valley, crossing the Chele La Pass (3,988 m), Bhutan’s highest motorable pass. Stop for panoramic photos of snow-capped peaks and fluttering prayer flags. Explore Lhakhang Karpo & Lhakhang Nagpo (White & Black Temples) and take a short walk in the local villages to experience traditional Haa life.

Spend a full day exploring the Haa Valley. Options include a hike to Katsho Goenpa (~6 km, 3–4 hours) for panoramic views, or a mountain biking route (10–15 km, 2–3 hours) through scenic farmlands and forests. Visit local villages, experience traditional Bhutanese lifestyles, and optionally try archery or a local farm-cooked meal.

Drive from the peaceful Haa Valley to Bhutan’s capital, Thimphu, enjoying scenic mountain views and terraced fields along the way. In Thimphu, visit Buddha Dordenma, the Takin Preserve, and the Centenary Farmers’ Market. Explore handicraft shops or enjoy a casual stroll in the city center before settling into your hotel.

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning in Thimphu with optional souvenir shopping or a short visit to a handicraft workshop. Then, drive to Paro International Airport for your departure flight back to Kathmandu, concluding your Bhutan adventure.
