Designed for travelers who want to experience the legendary Annapurna region without long trekking days, this private jeep tour takes you through dramatic landscapes, remote mountain villages, and high-altitude valleys that feel untouched by time.
Traveling by private 4WD jeep, you journey from the lowlands of Kathmandu or Pokhara into the rugged terrain of the Annapurna Conservation Area, crossing suspension bridges, roaring rivers, waterfalls, and alpine forests. With experienced local drivers, a professional guide, and necessary permits included, this short yet powerful Himalayan escape delivers an unforgettable mountain experience in just four days.
Itinerary
After breakfast, we begin our scenic drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Jagat in a private jeep. The journey takes approximately 8 to 9 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.
The road up to Besisahar is mostly paved with concrete. From Besisahar, the adventure continues on a dirt road for about 1–2 hours until we reach Jagat. Our experienced and licensed drivers ensure a safe and comfortable journey, even on rough terrain.
On a clear day, enjoy spectacular views of Annapurna II & III, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Lamjung Himal, along with beautiful rivers, waterfalls, suspension bridges, and dramatic landscapes.
Today’s drive takes you deeper into the Annapurna Conservation Area, surrounded by towering mountains and lush forests.
Passing through Dharapani, you’ll witness stunning waterfalls and changing landscapes. The journey continues through remote villages such as Chyamje, Bagarchhap, Timang, Tal, Chame, and Pisang. Some sections of the road are off-road, adding adventure to the trip.
After Pisang, road conditions improve, offering a smoother drive into Manang Valley, where traditional stone houses, prayer flags, and dramatic Himalayan scenery welcome you.
Today is dedicated to exploring the beauty of Manang Valley and acclimatizing to the altitude.
You will hike to either:
-
Khangsar Village, or
-
Gangapurna Base Camp (3,800 m)
Both options offer breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, glaciers, and the stunning Manang Rim Valley. After the hike, return to Manang for rest and relaxation.
After breakfast, we begin our return journey from Manang to Besisahar, and then onward to Kathmandu or Pokhara by private jeep.
The drive retraces the scenic route, offering views of waterfalls, steep cliffs, rivers, and natural hot springs, making the long journey enjoyable and memorable.
