Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Jhinu Danda, winding through lush hills, terraced farmlands, and traditional villages along the Modi Khola valley. Upon reaching Jhinu Danda, famous for its natural hot springs, you’ll start your trek toward Chhomrong.

The trail gradually ascends through stone staircases, rhododendron forests, and charming settlements, offering stunning views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machapuchare. As you reach Chhomrong—the gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking Himalayan panoramas and a peaceful mountain atmosphere.

In the evening, relax at a cozy teahouse, enjoy warm hospitality, and savor a traditional mountain meal while soaking in the serenity of the Annapurna region.

Today’s trek descends steeply to the Chhomrong Khola and then ascends through lush rhododendron and bamboo forests. The trail winds through small settlements like Sinuwa and lower Bamboo, with occasional glimpses of towering peaks.

The forested surroundings and serene atmosphere at Bamboo make it a peaceful overnight stop.

You’ll ascend gradually through damp bamboo forests and alpine vegetation, passing through Dovan and Himalaya. The air gets cooler as you gain altitude, and the landscape becomes more rugged and dramatic.

Deurali, nestled on a ridge, offers magnificent views and serves as the final stop before entering the high alpine zone of the Annapurna Sanctuary.
