Itinerary
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Bikase Danda (1,950 m), passing through terraced farmlands, rivers, and small villages. From Bikase Danda, you start your trek through lush forests and traditional pathways leading to Ghandruk, one of the most picturesque Gurung villages in the Annapurna region.
In Ghandruk, explore the Gurung Museum and gain insight into the local culture, lifestyle, and traditions. After spending time in the village, continue trekking through dense rhododendron and pine forests to Tadapani (2,630 m), a serene village surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks.
The trail offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ranges, and the gradual ascent allows for an easy start to your trek. Upon arrival at Tadapani, settle into your cozy teahouse accommodation and enjoy a warm Nepali dinner, reflecting on the beauty of your first day in the mountains.

After breakfast, you continue your journey through the Annapurna foothills, leaving Tadapani behind and trekking toward Dobato, a scenic high-altitude pass. The trail winds through dense rhododendron and pine forests, open meadows, and occasional streams, offering plenty of photo opportunities of the surrounding Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ranges.
From Dobato, the path gradually ascends to Baile Village (3,350 m), a tranquil highland settlement perched above the valleys. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks, alpine vegetation, and terraced fields. This village provides a perfect glimpse into traditional mountain life, with local tea houses offering rest and refreshments.
Upon arrival in Baile, settle into your teahouse accommodation, relax, and take in the stunning mountain vistas that surround this serene location. This day is moderately challenging, but the scenery and cultural experiences make every step worthwhile.
